Our Ministries

Launching January 10th, 2024, our Celebrate Recovery™ ministry will offer support for families working through life-controlling habits like alcoholism, drug use, and pornography. One night a week, Elah will open its doors to recovering families for a night of healing – including a family meal, fellowship, worship, adult breakout groups, and support classes for children and teenagers.

Elah’s GriefShare™ program is for anyone who has lost a loved one. While grief and pain are inevitable, it’s our hope with this ministry to equip participants with the healing tools they need to get back to a good, healthy place. Our third GriefShare™ series began on Thursday, September 14 at 7:00 pm. in our fellowship hall.

For over 10 years, our Gateway Landing™ ministry has offered a safe healing place for men who want to break free from alcohol and drug use. A one-year, Christ-centered approach to recovery, the program is run by church members Rod and Connie Lattie from a local campus here in Leland.

The Family Deacon Ministry at Elah Baptist Church is a vital model for ministering. Our dedicated deacons actively support pastoral care and various ministries, inspiring fellow members to engage in impactful outreach. Join us in fostering a strong sense of community at Elah Baptist Church through dedicated service and meaningful connections.

Love in Action is a group of women who believe in putting love in action by carrying out the words of God found in Matthew 25:40, where it tells us “when we have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, we have done it unto Him."

Encompass™ is a recurring, one-day training program open to all those battling addiction in our community. Local professionals provide resources and guidance to help participants understand addiction and learn how to navigate it with loved ones. Interested?
